According to Anastasia Beverly Hill's Instagram page, the launch of the Moonchild palette will not be announced. Instead, the brand decided to keep the time and date secret to prevent heavy traffic to the site. However, Bustle reached out to us for comment and revealed that the Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glow Set will release on Thursday, July 7th. That's right. You can get your hands on the latest kit just one day after its release.
Unlike its highlighter cousin, the Sweets Glow Kit, Moonchild features not the typical four shades of the traditional Anastasia Glow Kit, but a special six shades in one compact. However, these two additional shades aren't the only feature of this glow kit. According to TrendMood, four of the shades are formulated with Reflecks Highlighter, a special formula with a reflective tint underneath the pearlescent finish top shade. While the brand has yet to announce the change, rumors are still exciting about its possibilities.
The Moonchild Glow Kit was inspired by the character of the Childlike Queen in Michael Ende's novel The Neverending Story . Founder Claudia Soare herself explains that it was the visuals in the novel that inspired her, "I made this palette to pay homage to the childlike innocence of The Neverending Story The Queen's and brightly reflective visuals pay homage to " In the kit's stunning marketing campaign, Anastasia Beverly Hills even quoted a line from Ende's novel.
