American Horror Story Season 12 (aka AHS: Exquisite) is the show's buzziest season yet, thanks in large part to its iconic co-star: Kim Kardashian . Kardashian stars as the stylish Siobhan Corbyn, the PR-slash-bestie of actress and hopeful mother-to-be Anna Victoria Alcott (Emma Roberts).
The Kardashian connection has spawned some of the season's funniest theories: Kim's character, for example, is a parody of her own very famous family (particularly her mother, Kris Jenner).
However, the influence of reality TV is not Delicate's only advantage. The Guardian 's review noted that this season was "more buzzworthy than usual," and Rotten Tomatoes critics agreed that Exquisite "refreshed the series' formula with a slow-cooler refresh."
But unfortunately for those who want to watch the full season as soon as possible, "Exquisite" will air at a slower pace than previous episodes of "AHS" because it is divided into two parts - the first of which will be released in October. Ends on the 18th.

Delicacy is still, uh, gestating
Don't expect Part 2 to pick up anytime soon . FX has yet to announce an official return date, and Variety is only reporting that the second half will be released sometime in 2024 — a pretty wide window.
It's unclear how much of Delicate 's season was filming before production was put on hold due to a writers' and actors' strike, adding even more uncertainty to a potential return timeline.
Franchise first
American Horror Story has never done a two-episode episode like this, so there's no precedent to look back on.
While Season 10's double feature technically has two parts, they were considered separate stories from the start. (Before Season 10 was announced, show co-creator Ryan Murphy told Variety that he was "working on two ideas," and Double Feature was considered his best-of-both-worlds solution .) In addition, the entire season is broadcast continuously without interruption between stories.
Instead, Delicate's installment is likely the result of a strike by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA. Although the WGA strike ended in late September, the actors' strike was still ongoing as of mid-October.
