If you've ever wondered what someone means when they talk about a planetary transit or "Venus in their first house," then this app explains it all in vivid detail. A celestial vocabulary glossary can be found under the "Learn" tab, where you can brush up on concepts such as Midheaven, Nadir, all 12 astrological houses, and more.
TimePassages has lots of free features like horoscopes, the Big Three, and a birth chart calculator that shows where all the planets are in the sky on your birthday and what they mean. This is shown on the colored birth chart, which contains all of your 12 houses.

To be honest, when I first downloaded TimePassages, I wasn't impressed. While one is drawn to shiny apps with sleek interfaces and cute animated cats like Labyrinthos and Moonly, this app leaves something to be desired. The simple font and black background make it look like a website from 2006, but when I started browsing, I was quickly attracted by all the useful astronomical information.
As someone who has written extensively about astrology, and as someone who continues to accumulate personal knowledge on planetary movements, aspects, retrogrades, houses, etc., I devoured all the terms in the glossary section of the app and it was like I study for the exam.
While most people are aware of the 12 zodiac signs and the four astrological elements - water, air, fire and earth - it is not always clear what exactly Chiron is, whether it is a Midheaven, a conjunction or a trine, which That's what this app is about saving the day.
Thanks to the Glossary, I now know that the Midheaven in your chart represents the outer expression of your personality and energy. It can also refer to your self-identity and has strong connections to your public life and career, as symbolized by the tenth house. Any natal planet conjunct the Midheaven is considered "exalted" and emphatic.
My Midheaven is in Gemini, which has to do with communication and sharing ideas, which seemed appropriate given my career path. It also indicates a witty sense of humor, as well as a tendency toward boredom. guilty.

The app says a transit is when a planet forms a significant aspect or angle to a planet in your natal chart. Certain transits may pose challenges or set the stage for good fortune. When you know what's coming next, it's easier to make decisions with more confidence, and it can also help you understand why you've been feeling "off."
For example, right now the Sun is in a strong conjunction with my natal Moon - a time when the two planets are very close together. According to the app, this conjunction should make me feel good about myself over the next few days, especially regarding my emotions, home, and family.
I love TimePassages’ horoscopes, which dig deep into your sun sign and see more than just your sun sign. The more I check the app, the more I realize how accurate it is. My horoscope shows what is happening in the sky over the next few days, and it also reveals longer transits that will affect me in the coming months and years.
