One big difference between "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette" and its spinoff "Paradise" is that the latter's romances don't always end in engagement. The pace of "Bachelor in Paradise" is so fast that its stars have less time to develop deep connections. Sometimes, that step happens right after leaving the beach, and that's the case for Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb, who got engaged this summer after meeting in Mexico two years ago.
However, the promo for Paradise Season 9 teases a real beach wedding. Host Jesse Palmer appears to be serving as master of ceremonies, but it's hard to figure out other details. (Last season, Palmer offered to officiate the wedding of Celine Russell and Brandon Jones, but was turned down.)
In the promo, Palmer refers to the two as "couple," prompting bells and emotional reactions from the Paradise Resident audience. So the wedding could be real!
There's just one big question: Who will get married on Bachelor in Paradise?
According to season nine rumors and reports (spoilers!) , there are a few happy couples this time around. Kate Izzo and John Henry Spurlock, Aaron Bryant and Eliza Isich, Alvin Jones and Keri Russell were all on the beach, Reality Steve reports A connection was made.
But the Bachelor Nation blogger isn't predicting which of these couples will tie the knot. Instead, the pairing isn't from this season at all: it's Kenny Brash and Mary Peppin from Season 7!
As you may recall, the two got engaged on the beach in 2021. "I don't have you in my life," Kenny told Mary during the emotional proposal. "You are an amazing woman and you have changed my entire outlook on life."
The couple have already shared plans to get married in Puerto Rico this November, and Reality Steve said an additional beach wedding could be "good for production." Plus, as they told Bachelor Nation last year, they'll be hosting another celebration in Chicago in early 2024, so what else is on the wedding itinerary?
It actually made sense for Kenny and Mary to get married on the beach. First, several Paradise couples have done the same thing, choosing to celebrate their weddings in the place where they first got together. In the same interview, Mali said that they "of course...will have [their] bachelor's family at the wedding." She seemed to be referring to their Puerto Rican wedding, but maybe she's been secretly dropping crumbs .
