How long does a septum piercing hurt?

Septum piercings can be seen on local celebrities and the most fashionable people, and its popularity has skyrocketed recently. If you like to keep up with the latest trends and plan to follow suit, you may be wondering how long a septum piercing will hurt. I'm not sure if it's just me, but the thought of getting any kind of facial piercing makes me feel a little sick. The good thing about other piercings, such as ear piercings, is that you usually can't see what's going on. But when you're getting a septum piercing, the needle is right in front of your eyes and it can be hard to look away - I definitely had to close my eyes!

All gross-out aside, septum piercings look cool and I believe they are totally worth any discomfort or pain. In 2013, Jessica Biel wore a sophisticated nose ring at the Met Gala, and the following year, Kendall Jenner wore it at Coachella A huge nose ring. Septum piercings appear to be a body fashion trend that is here to stay.

So I spoke to Ashley of Venus, Maria Tash's professional piercer, to get the lowdown on septum piercing pain to find out how long the fresh pain lasts. Because what's the point of getting this incredible festival piercing if it stops us from having fun at the festivals this summer?

Well, according to Ashley, “Since everyone is wired slightly differently, the pain level of any piercing will vary from person to person.” However, Ashley also told me some good news, “All piercings only require It's done in a split second and feels like a small pinch for most people. Most clients agree that stubbing their toe or getting a flu shot hurts more than any piercing. For people, this is good news.

So what about septal piercings in particular? Well, Ashley told me, "While septum piercings make you look brave, they don't take long to heal at all and are very easy to heal. The healing time for a septum is only 6 to 8 weeks." This is great news for anyone considering a septum piercing.

Ashley also adds, "When you get a septum piercing, your eyes will water a little, but that's usually the only uncomfortable part of the procedure." So even if your pain threshold is really low, and your septum The pain of your piercing makes you cry, and you can also blame it on the surgery - just tell anyone who asks about your watery eyes! However, it seems you don't have to hold back the tears, considering some people liken the sting to a toe prick or a flu shot.
