Beyoncé's platinum blonde hair serves up the Ice Queen

Since May 2023, Beyoncé has been touring and celebrating her artistry on the headline-grabbing Renaissance Tour. "Renaissance: The Beyoncé Movie " held its world premiere in Beverly Hills, California on November 1, with a star-studded red carpet.

Stars such as Halle Bailey, Lori Harvey, Kris Jenner, Normani, and her former Destiny's Child bandmate Kylie Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams both came out in support of Bay. In true Beyoncé fashion, the "Alien Superstar" singer not only wore a curve-hugging, all-silver Versace fit, but she also took the opportunity to debut a new hairstyle.

Beyonce's Platinum Blonde Moment

Bey ditched the "sunburnt blonde" hair color she's sported throughout the tour — Rita Hazan, the colorist behind the look, previously told Bustle she did it for the star My favorite color of all time - Bey took to the silver carpet with a charismatic presence. The smooth, almost white platinum inches extended well beyond her hips.

Throughout her dynamic career, Beyoncé has experimented with just about every shade of brunette and blonde, from deep espresso to bold yellow tones. However, this platinum color feels completely different than anything she's done before.

Beyoncé often wears her hair in warm, honey tones. While she definitely loves her blonde moments while performing on stage, it's clear she's ushering in a new era of post-Renaissance touring.

Celebrities are going blonde this winter

While Queen Bey is the latest A-list star to go blonde ahead of the cold winter months, she's not the first to make a major hair change.

Just this month, Kim Kardashian and Rihanna have both explored different shades of honey blonde hair. And they probably won't be the last, considering industry hair pros previously told Bustle that cream and Barbie blonde are two of the most popular hair colors for winter 2024.

Icy platinum is trending: "You don't have to go dark for winter—stay bright blonde." Professional celebrity colorist Rita Hazan talks winter 2023 hair color trends.

Touring movies are totally the same thing

In case you missed it, the Renaissance Tour officially ends in early October of this year. Renaissance: The Beyoncé Movie offers the public the opportunity to relive (or temporarily experience) this iconic concert.
