I've pored over Netflix's release schedule to bring you the best movies and TV shows to premiere on the service this month, a month when Netflix is investing heavily in live events. To celebrate Los Angeles' annual Netflix Is a Joke festival, the streaming platform will launch a slate of live shows, including nightly live episodes from comedian John Mulaney, stand-up from Katt Comedy performance by Williams, and live performances by quarterback Tom Brady.
Beyond that, there's a full slate of original movies and shows, including Jerry Seinfeld's Unfrosted , the new season of Bridgerton , and David E. ·Premiere of the play "A Man in Full," directed by David E. Kelley and Regina King. Also: Atlas , in which Jennifer Lopez plays a super agent who battles computers.
John Mulaney presents: Everybody's in L.A.
As part of the Netflix is a Joke festival, stand-up comedian John Mulaney will host six nights of live broadcasts starting on May 3. Described as a "celebration of Los Angeles" and featuring some of the biggest names in comedy (names to be announced), Everybody's in L.A. promises Mulaney and his fellow comedian friends will come to the City of Angels to create An experience where anything can happen, comedy fans will definitely want to watch it in real time.
