Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner and his wife, also Taylor Lautner (but simply known as Tay), are certified Swifties. During a July 19 episode of The Squeeze podcast, the couple opened up about all things Swift, who they affectionately call "Blonde Girl Tay," including joining her on her record-breaking Eras tour in Kansas City, There Taylor shared the stage with the singer after she premiered their "I Can See You" music video. The duo answered fans' most pressing questions, but their biggest challenge was naming their top five Swift songs. "Wow, I feel like my life is on the line," Ty said.
To make things easier, Tay and Taylor decided to list their current favorite songs instead of narrowing down their all-time favorites. “My first choice at this moment is Cruel Summer,” Tay said. "This song is so good. I was screaming in the car." Lautner then revealed his hit song "I Can See You," which isn't surprising considering his role in the video. Tay then listed the song as her second favorite before correctly guessing that Swift's "Exile" featuring Bon Iver was Lautner's next favorite song. “I really liked that,” he said.
She listed "Midnight Rain" as her third favorite song, which she stole from her husband, who then decided on "Enchanted," calling it a "classic." "Long Live" and "All Too Well (10-Minute Version)" complete Tay's top five, while "The 1" and "Timeless" round out Lautner's current list of favorite Swift songs.
The couple later opened up about Swift's 2010 single "Back to December," an apology song she wrote for Lautner after their relationship ended in 2009, calling it "a "A hit song" and "a great song."
