Travis Kelce is sharing the origins of his love story with Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs football player opened up about their early relationship during a Jan. 31 episode of The Pat McAfee Show podcast, revealing that before she attended her first Chiefs game in September 2023, they We're already dating.
Swift was spotted cheering Kelce on during a game where his team faced off against the Chicago Bears, sparking romance rumors.
"We'd known each other for almost a month at this point," Kelce said, adding, "I love having Tyler here to support me and enjoy the game with my family and friends. It's been a great year, man."
His story lines up with that of Swift, who told The Times in December 2023 that she and the Chiefs tight end were already a couple in her first game.
"When I went to the first game, we were already a couple," Swift told the magazine. "I guess some people thought they saw our first date in that game? We would never be crazy enough to go on a first date."

Speaking on the Pat McAfee Show podcast, Kelce said the attention surrounding the couple was "new" and described it as a "crazy, crazy ride."
"I had a lot of fun," he continued. "Most of the world is enjoying it, except for the grumpy NFL fans who just don't want to see the Chiefs win."
The football player, who will play in Super Bowl 58 against the San Francisco 49ers on February 11, also confirmed that he will not attend the 2024 Grammy Awards on February 4, where Swift Nominations were received in six main categories at the awards ceremony.
"I wish I could support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every award she's nominated for," Kelce continued on the podcast. "But I think I have training on Sunday."

Rumors about the couple first started when Kelce stopped by the Times Tour at Arrowhead Stadium and tried to give Swift his phone number.
"If you go to a Taylor Swift concert and there are friendship bracelets, I got a bunch of them there, but I want to give Taylor Swift a bracelet with my phone number on it," he wrote in his revealed on the New Heights podcast. Jason and Travis Kelce , 2023.
Swift later revealed to Time magazine that their relationship began shortly after Kelce "really endeared me on his podcast."
“We started hanging out ever since,” she said. "So we actually had a lot of time that no one knew about, which I'm grateful for because we got to get to know each other."
