Spice Girls release hit 90s music video

It's been over 25 years since the Spice Girls released their best-selling second album , Spiceworld , and the band have been busy celebrating the milestone with a series of nostalgic albums, including a special take on the band's second album , Spiceworld 25 Anniversary Edition, along with another music video for "Spice Up Your Life." Now, the iconic band is spreading girl power once again, commemorating the 25th anniversary of their hit "Stop" with a never-before-seen music video.

On March 9, the Spice Girls released an alternative video for their hit single, using previously unseen footage from the original 1998 music video shoot. "We still love seeing you dance with us, and to celebrate this anniversary we've released a new video from the original shoot 25 years ago," a message on the site reads.

The celebratory release was welcomed by long-time fans on social media, many of whom "liked" the alternative 2023 version. "This dance is still burned into my brain in the best way," one fan wrote on Twitter, while another commented: "25 years later, I still know the choreography."

"Stop" peaked at number two on the UK singles chart upon its release in 1998, and remains one of the band's best-known tracks. The single appeared on the band's second album , Spiceworld , which topped the UK album charts for three weeks. As of 2022, the album has sold more than 14 million copies worldwide.

As previously announced, a special anniversary edition of the multi-platinum album launches in November 2022 and will be available in four different formats, including Digital Deluxe Edition, 2CD and hardcover book, 2LP Deluxe Edition, dual cassette, picture disc and HD. Vinyl plastic.
