Swift had the funniest reaction to meeting Laura Dern on Jurassic Park tour

Laura Dern rose to prominence in "Jurassic Park ," won an Emmy for her starring role in "Big Little Lies" and her first Oscar for "Marriage Story." But now, she's been announced for what may be her biggest role yet: Taylor Swift's "Bejeweled" music video. In a new interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live on January 9, Dern revealed that she was recognized on the Jurassic Park tour, but not actually in the 1993 film.

The actor was visiting her friend's organic farm on Oahu, where parts of the movie were shot. A themed guided tour is being held nearby with a sign reading "Welcome to Jurassic Park." "I saw our friends after the beach and we were getting in the car and I was standing in front of the sign and a bunch of people came," she recalled. "This girl came up to me and said, 'Oh my God! Oh my God!' I was like, 'I just want to be with my family and let's not do the whole Jurassic Park thing.' "She asked, 'Aren't you the girl in the Taylor Swift video?'"

Although she was hesitant at first, she felt honored by Swift, calling it an "amazing" encounter. "She asked to take a picture with me because she loves Taylor Swift, and we had 'Welcome to Jurassic Park' behind us," she laughs.

Dunn recalled her experience filming with Swift, who also directed the video. "Tyler asked me, and it sounded like an incredible time," she said. "I was amazed at what a great filmmaker she was, how prepared she was, how improvisatory she was and how funny she was. I had the best time of my life. So, it was just awesome."

Swift also had glowing praise for Dunn. During an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in October, the singer explained how she got the Oscar winner to appear in her videos, revealing that she told her that she wrote a scene script that Deng Eun calls her "a jaded person" in the script. Tacky girl. "She said, 'I'm depressed,'" Swift quipped, before recalling what it was like to work with Dern. "She's the coolest, she's so funny," she said. "Directing Oscar winner Laura ·Dunn is easier than anything I've ever done in my life. She's the greatest, I don't even believe I'm saying that. "
