Travis Kelce calls Taylor Swift 'bold' on his latest podcast

Football fanatics and pop music lovers went wild when Taylor Swift attended Travis Kelce's football game on Sunday, further fueling the idea that the two are dating speculation. Now, Kelce is finally opening up about those romance rumors.

During the Sept. 27 episode of the New Heights podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end discussed Sunday's game with his brother, football player Jason Kelce. Jason eagerly cut to the chase and started the conversation with a joke: "How does it feel that Taylor Swift is finally making you famous?" he asked, eliciting laughter from his brother.

Kelce said it was a game he'll never forget. "Cheers to Taylor for stopping by," he said, adding that it was "very brave" for her to accept his invitation to watch from a private box with his friends and family, including his mom, Donna Kelce. "I just thought it was awesome that everyone in the suite was raving about her, friends and family. She looked great. Everybody was raving about her."

Kelce also said he loved seeing Swift bond with his mom in the suite and seeing how excited fans were to get to know the pop star in the stands. "To see the chest rising and falling in slow motion, to see the high fives being given to my mom... it was absolutely hysterical," he said.

He went on to mention how the two left the stadium together in a convertible that was a subtle reference to Swift's style. “Then we just drove away in the getaway car at the end,” he said, nodding to her 2017 Reputation song “Getaway Car.”

He also reflected hard on the new attention he's received due to his association with Swift, joking that his personal life is "less personal." "I know I'm getting all this attention," he said. "I was the one who did the whole friendship bracelet and told everyone how [hurt] I was that I didn't see Taylor."

By "the whole friendship bracelet thing," Kelce is referring to how he publicly courted her after performing on Swift's Eras Tour in Kansas City in July. At the time, he said on the podcast that he wanted to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number: "I was disappointed that she didn't speak before or after the show because she had to keep her voice for 44 hours," she sang. song," he said, adding that it was "an incredible performance."

Just a few months later, rumors surfaced that Swift was "quietly hanging out" with Kelce. But even after Swift attended Sunday's game, the two reportedly haven't officially met yet but are still getting to know each other.

"They were having a lot of fun," a source told People . "It was the first time Tyler met his mom and dad and everyone was happy."

For now, Kelce is keeping mum about the status of his relationship with Swift. "I think what's really true is, this is my personal life and I want to respect her life," he said. "She's not as present in the media as I am doing this show every week and having fun on other people's shows during the NFL season."
