Meeting Daisy's family could be a game-changer for Bachelor Joey

During Joey Graziadei and Daisy Kent's one-on-one Bachelor meeting in Jasper, Alberta, the two discussed the looming prospect of "Hometown" — leading to a A hilariously self-aware franchise moment. "Like the energy, it makes me...excited," Minnesota native Daisy said of the Canadian leg of their Bachelor tour.

"About the possibility of going home?" Joey asked.

"Yes, about the possibility of going home," Daisy replied. "Well, I guess I'm going home anyway. But hopefully it's with you."

Luckily, Joey did choose Daisy as one of the four women whose families he will meet during the March 4 episode of The Bachelor Hometown . But that's not to say it will be a seamless visit. During their date with Jasper, she explains why she can't say she's in love with Joey, and that her family has something to do with it, in a way.

"They were the ones who came in to pick me up...I just knew they were going to give you some big questions," she told Joy, referring to the support her family has received through their experiences with Meniere's disease, Lyme disease and hearing loss.

Daisy's family wanted to make sure Joey was there for her in sickness and in health. She also said in the Hometown promo that she needs her family's help to "figure out exactly how she feels emotionally" — so it's clear this could be a life-or-death visit.

So, who will Joey meet? Here's everything you need to know about Daisy's family before her date in her Bachelor hometown.

Daisy's parents set the standard

In her Bachelor bio, Daisy refers to her parents' 30-plus years of marriage as "a blueprint for the love she wants." Her parents, Julie and Brandon, recently celebrated another anniversary.

She was the second oldest of four siblings, and her father told the newspaper that her brother Milan was particularly important to Daisy finding purpose through her hearing loss, according to the Minnesota Patriot-News . "He knew it was more than just the disease," he said. "It was a goal that she could use her experience to help others. He put a fire under her."

In addition to setting an example for their daughter, Julie and Brandon seem to have skillfully guided Daisy toward a life of bachelorhood . That might be a bit of an exaggeration, but she did recently share a photo of her baby holding a bouquet of roses. "Like, these can't be real," Daisy joked on TikTok.

her Christmas tree childhood

Daisy's Christmas tree truck ride on her first night on The Bachelor was so memorable that her local Minnesota community still cheers her on to this day. B&J Evergreen Tree Farm in Clear Lake regularly celebrates Daisy's date on social media.

"It's cool that she grew up on our tree farm," they wrote on Facebook. "What's truly inspiring and educational is how openly she shares her journey with hearing loss and how she lives with hearing loss every day."
