A$AP Rocky makes rare comment about his and Rihanna's kids

As far as A$AP Rocky is concerned, he and Rihanna have created two of their greatest masterpieces together—but they don't involve music or fashion.

While in Las Vegas on Nov. 17 to promote his Puma x F1 collection, Complex asked the rapper and creative director what his and Rihanna's best work would be if they could collaborate on the brand. "If me and my lady were to collaborate, what could we collaborate on and just fucking smash and go crazy?" he asked. "I think we did a great job working together and having a baby. I think it's our best creation yet."

Rocky, who shares sons RZA, 18 months, and Riot Rose, 3 months, with Rihanna, continued: "There's nothing like it. Any design... I mean , we had a third designer come in to help, a ghost designer named God who, you know, shaped everything, and we had these beautiful angels. So it was the best collaboration."

The first family in fashion

Both he and Rihanna are tight-lipped when it comes to their children, even though fashion and family are indelibly linked to the couple.

Rihanna has been collaborating with Puma through her Fenty brand since 2015, most recently designing a sneaker, the Avanti, in September. "It's kind of like a family reunion," Rihanna told Vogue of the first Fenty x Puma collaboration since 2017. "Returning to Puma as a mother, in a new space, can generate new perspectives and ideas."

Her latest pieces also come in children's sizing. "This time, we're branching out to kids because I selfishly want my kids to wear everything their dad and I wear or design," Rihanna added.

A$AP Rocky also linked fatherhood to creativity in an interview with Apple Music 1's Zane Lowe in January.

"Now that I'm a dad, being outside and working and being creative obviously inspires you to think more about and absorb things because I have a whole 'other perspective,'" he said. "But honestly, it helps you go home to your family, to your baby. I can't even explain it, man. You get to go back to heaven every day. I'm grateful. God is good, man."
