Here's When 'Bridgerton' Season 3 Sex Scene Happened

Each season of "Bridgerton" delivers steamy scenes in a different way. Season 1 will forever be remembered for its "Wildest Dreams" montage and fraught sexual dynamics, while Season 2 culminated in an explosive garden scene for its numerous tension-filled glances.

But the sex scenes in Bridgerton Season 3 were always unique. First, there's the chemistry between him and Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington), as Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton) recently told Bustle The reaction has been brewing for quite some time.

"For the previous cast members who have hosted the show, they met at the beginning of the season, and Nick and I have developed our friendship over the past four years," he explained. "We felt very safe and we had a great team of intimacy coordinators. It was very well prepared and allowed us the freedom to perform."

The fact that both Coughlan and Newton shared behind-the-scenes details from filming the spicy scene—including the fact that they broke some furniture—underscores how comfortable they felt on set.

Now that the entire season is finally streaming on Netflix, here's your episode guide to when the sex scenes in Bridgerton Season 3 took place.

Episode 1: Kanthony’s time to shine

While it may be #Polin' season, this is actually the first time Kate and Anthony have seen a sex scene. It happens about 25 minutes into the first episode, "Out of the Shadows" - a fitting title!

In season two, the two sleep together for the first time in a secret nightly meeting. But this season, they're married and are free to name an heir (or have some fun exercises) at noon in the comfort of their own home.

Of course, they do share the home with the rest of the Bridgerton family. So once they hear their family (including their beloved corgis) rustling outside, they have to put a stop to their fun—until later in the episode, when they make up for lost time at the table.

It's nice to see them happy in their marriage after all the tension last season.

Episode 2: Colin’s New Era

About nine minutes into episode 2, Colin is in bed with two women - neither of whom is Penelope. (Of course, they never get together that early in the season.) Viewers only get to see the final moments of the threesome, though, as Colin has to run off to meet Penelope for her dating class. Ironically!

Then, around minute 41, there's a brief montage of Penelope's sisters and their respective husbands, and Portia's not-so-subtle request for a grandson.

Episode 3: Passionate Fantasy

There aren't any sex scenes in this episode, but there is a hot and heavy make-out scene between Colin and Penelope in Colin's dream. He is in a bad mood!

Episode 4: Let’s go!

About 14 minutes later, Colin had another tryst with two women - but he apparently wasn't feeling it and was instead thinking about Penelope.

Then, in the 44th minute, Benedict and Mrs. Tilly Arnold share a passionate moment in bed.

And the spices keep coming. The episode cuts from Benedict and his lover to #Polin's pivotal scene: Colin crashes Penelope's carriage home from the ball and confesses his feelings to her. They engage in their first intimate encounter, but everything is interrupted when the carriage arrives at Colin's house - causing both of them to laugh, displaying a delightful familiarity from friends to lovers.

Episode 5: Reflection Time

Why wait until the wedding? The newly engaged couple begins married life in episode 5. Starting around the 15-minute mark, Colin whispers sweet nothings to Penelope as they look at themselves in the bedroom mirror. Then, after a passionate kiss, they moved to the sofa bed and slept together for the first time.

Episodes 7 and 8: Benedict’s Passionate Tryst

In episode seven, Benedict meets Ms. Tilly Arnold and her companion Paul, and the three begin a series of passionate meetings. They kiss at about 55 minutes into episode 7 and have sex at about 12:30 and 22:30 into episode 8.

"They were really funny," Luke Thompson, who plays Benedict, tells Bustle of the intimate moments. "To me, they're no different than when Tilly and I were dancing. You're basically using something physical to describe or explore what's going on between two people — or in this case, three people. ”

Later, after Penelope confesses her Lady Whistledown secret and reconciles with Colin, the two share a slow and sweet moment in bed around 1:02:30.
