Courteney Cox pokes fun at her past hairstyle in viral clip

Courteney Cox recalls some of her past hairstyles, including Monica Geller's "It's Humidity!" friend frizz.

Cox regularly delights her 14.8 million followers with hilarious Instagram clips, and in her latest video, shared on Jan. 9, the actor comes face to face with the boldest move of her career to date.

In the video, the dog walker outside Cox's home asks her, "What's going on?" and she replies, "There's construction going on."

However, her attention was quickly drawn to their hoodie, which featured a photo of Cox's infamous Gale Weathers bangs from Scream 3 printed on the front.

"What is that? Don't wear that sweatshirt," Cox said. "Bangs? Come on. This is ridiculous. So embarrassing."

Cox then began checking out the construction workers inside — all of whom were wearing sweatshirts emblazoned with her past hairstyles.

As the "Twilight Zone" theme played, she noticed a photo of "Science Misfit" character Gloria Dinallo, who had short hair throughout the 1985 episode.

A sweatshirt also features a screenshot of Monica's memorable curly hairstyle in the Friends season 9 episode "The One in Barbados," during which her character's hair was transformed by the island's tropical succumb to humidity.

Fans had plenty to say about Cox's latest joke on Instagram, with one fan declaring: "Monica's big hair is actually iconic."

In recent years, Cox has frequently joked about her past hairstyles, most recently on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2022, when she joked that her screaming bangs were "the worst."

"I forgot about that. There's nothing worse than that," Cox said at the time. "That's an important lesson in life because it will always be in the movie."
