Miranda Cosgrove says she's never been drunk in her life

Apparently, Carly Shay has always been a goody two shoes. Miranda Cosgrove admitted during a Dec. 18 interview on "Drake & Josh" costar Josh Peck's "The Good Guys" podcast that she's never drank or smoked anything in her life. thing.

During the interview, Peck asked, "Have you ever done anything bad? Like, do you drink?" It turns out the iCarly alum stayed true to her kind-hearted character. "I've never been drunk in my life," she admits. "Crazy." As her "brother," Peck breathed a sigh of relief, calling her "so pure."

"I really don't have a good reason," she continued. "I've never been buzzed. I've had drinks before, but only two sips."

The same applies to smoking, although Cosgrove once had an edible. "I've never smoked anything," she said. "I had an edible piece, like an edible brownie, and then I slept for about 17 hours. I woke up really well rested."

Peck noted that Cosgrove had many opportunities to "get attention" at Hollywood parties and asked if there was a "restrictive part" that prevented her from drinking. She acknowledged that this may have played a small role, but explained that it actually stemmed from her circle of friends.

"I think it started because when I was out with friends, I was always the designated driver, and I kind of enjoyed playing that role and got used to it and stuck with it forever," she said.

However, she is not morally opposed to drinking alcohol at least once in her life. "Even though I'm 30 years old, I'm still planning on doing it at some point," she told her former costar. "I should do this on my 30th birthday."

Josh and Megan's potential reunion

Peck and Cosgrove stayed in touch frequently over the years, and Peck even had a recurring role as Carly's new manager in the iCarly reboot. While it seems unlikely that Drake and Josh will reunite, Cosgrove still wants to find a way to reunite with Peck as brother and sister.

"Josh and I are very close. I think he's one of the best people ever," she told People in June , noting how "awesome" it would be to play the siblings on screen again. "We've actually talked about this before and maybe one day we'll do something together."
