Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker welcomed son Rocky on December 22, just over seven weeks after his birth on November 1 Their son Rocky entered the world of social media. Introduction to Rocky
Kardashian's post was simply titled: "Rocky," she wrote, alongside a black heart emoji. The photos are the most important part, each photo shows the newborn and his parents.
Like Khloé Kardashian before them, the Barkers appear to have intentionally chosen not to show their baby's full face. Still, fans raved about seeing Rocky XIII Buck's tiny feet and snuggling form from different angles. "The cutest nugget can't wait to see him grow up," one commented.
Proud Aunt Khloe was one of many who responded to Rocky's post. "Those little toes!" she wrote. Keeping Up With the Kardashians Parenting Styles
Some fans praised Kardashian for adding a breastfeeding photo on the carousel. "Thank you for normalizing breastfeeding!" one wrote. Another added: "Congratulations! Love the breastfeeding performance!"
The issue has been widely discussed by the famous family over the years. Kardashian invited Khloé to a Poosh conversation in March 2020, where they reflected on their experiences as new moms trying to feed their babies. "I remember I was almost frustrated with you," Khloe told her sister, recalling that she felt Kourtney had a "wonderful" nursing experience that "just didn't work" for her.
Kardashian said she struggled, too. "I remember the first month was the hardest. ... There was pain involved," she recalled. "Like, lock-in, once I figured that out, then it was easy for me."
As for breastfeeding in public, she said she "absolutely feels comfortable breastfeeding in front of anyone," which still seems to be true.
Rocky's origin story
Rocky is Kardashian's fourth child and her first with Barker. She shares children Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 9, with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Buck, who has sons Landon, 20, and Alabama, 17, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, is also parents to Atiana De La Hoya, 24 De La Hoya's stepfather.
This summer, Kardashian dramatically announced her pregnancy by waving a "Travis I'm Pregnant" sign at a Blink-182 concert on June 17. "So grateful and joyful for God's blessings and plans," she later posted on Instagram.
The pregnancy was so stressful that Kardashian had to undergo emergency fetal surgery in September. Fortunately, with the help of doctors, Rocky arrived safely on November 1st. His official debut on Instagram is now behind us, and fans are hoping to see more from Rocky soon.
