It’s not about the pasta – it’s about the mix. Taylor Swift was spotted listening to Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy DJed at the Neon Carnival Coachella after-party on April 13, and she had a blast with him vs. her Hilarious reactions to a remix of ’s hit song “Cruel Summer” are going viral.
The TikTok video shows Swift nodding and dancing to the original version of "Cruel Summer" while chatting with friends in her VIP seats. For the line "This is cool," Kennedy added his own echo and reverb to transition into his own club mix. Swift seemed confused by the decision, looking blankly at the camera before continuing to speak.
No matter what Swift thinks, Kennedy is happy she's dancing to his tune. The DJ reposted the video to his Instagram Story, saying he was "born for this."
Party-goers also spotted Swift making out with boyfriend Travis Kelce at Neon Carnival. Earlier in the day, they danced together at a number of venues at Coachella, including performances by Ice Spice, Dom Dolla and her collaborator Jack Antonoff's band Bleachers.
Kennedy also took credit for it, joking on Instagram Stories that one of his mashups was "setting the mood" for the couple's PDA. "They had so much fun while I was playing @taylorswift x @killatrav," he wrote.
It turns out that Swift and the Bravo star had a lot of unexpected crossovers at Coachella. Before attending the after-party for Kennedy's show, she posed with "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice at the festival while waiting for Ice Spice to take the stage. Giudice's husband, Louie Ruelas, posted a photo of them on Instagram, calling them "two absolute queens."
That said, it's unclear whether Swift knew who Giudice or Kennedy was. The singer has never claimed to be a Bravo fan or even mentioned the network. But Kelce did appear on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2016, where he met Real Housewives of New York City cast member Ramona Singer Singer, so there's always the possibility the two secretly watch Bravo together.
Still, the Braveverse is clearly filled with Swift, including Tom Sandoval's assistant Ann, who was ecstatic to be on Pump Rules ' Eras tour, and Cohen himself, who said it was cool to have Swift appear on his show It will be "amazing".
