Although Grande hasn't spoken out directly, her latest Instagram post all but confirms that a new album is on the way.

The first image in the carousel shows a series of Polaroids scattered on the floor. The second image looks like an album cover - it features a blurry shot of her lips.

Next to it, the singer wrote "see you next year" on a piece of paper in red lipstick (from her own brand, REM, of course). The carousel also includes several snapshots from inside the recording studio.

"Are you tired? Have you been working hard? Is this almost the last day of this album?" Grande is asked in the clip.

"I'm tired, but happy and grateful," she replied. "I also felt like I weighed 3,000 tons. Like, the idea of moving was impossible."

The post comes after weeks of hints from the singer. Earlier this month, she shared a series of photos from inside a recording studio, and last week, she was spotted on the set of what many speculated was a new music video.
