Bachelor Nation's Susie Evans and Justin Glaze finally confirm they're dating

Bachelor Nation's best-kept secret is now out. After months of speculation, former Bachelor winner Suzy Evans and Bachelor in Paradise alum Justin Glaze have confirmed they are an item.

"Justin is my boyfriend," Susie said in a joint interview with E! January 24th. "We're dating." In fact, they've been dating for longer than fans thought.

The couple shared how they got together, explaining that after Suzy split from bachelor Clayton Echard in November 2022, Justin needed a videographer and sent Suzy a private message. They later moved to Los Angeles, but their relationship remained platonic. "Justin dates people, I date people," she said. "So it's true that we're just friends."

However, fans noticed their connection right then and there. "I've been working on it," she said when asked if she and Justin would ever leave the friend zone on Instagram. They didn't become more than friends until October 2023, when a night out ended with 7 -11 Convenience store shopping is over (yes, that’s apparently a thing).

"I was like, 'Oh, this seems like a different tone,'" he recalled. When they returned to his house, the two told each other their true feelings and shared their first kiss.

"We had a really good conversation and I just did it," he said. "I was like, 'Hey listen, I don't know where you stand on our friendship or relationship. Obviously, I have a lot of respect for you and I appreciate our friendship. But if I [say] I haven't considered us as friends I’d be lying if the natural chemistry between them could possibly transcend friendship.”

Susie and Justin have made a number of public appearances in recent months, attending KIIS FM's Jingle Ball and Mean Girls screenings together. There are also some flirty (sponsored) posts on Instagram that all but confirm the two are dating. However, they remained silent on their circle of friends, not wanting to ruin the dynamic.

"We've always wanted to protect our privacy, which sounds interesting because our romantic relationship was far from private when we were on the show," he said. "But we just want to protect our peace and control our narrative and not put any pressure on our relationship."

Now, the two proudly share their happiness with the world. "He really showed up and was so supportive, and no one has ever been supportive like that," Susie said.
