The reigning red carpet queen, Jennifer Lopez never fails to rock a stunning look. But yesterday, she may have outdone herself enough in her latest public appearance. While promoting her latest Netflix action film Atlas Mexico City , the singer was photographed wearing a bridal white tiered gown with plenty of romantic ruffles. But here's the thing: The dress looks very similar to the wedding dress she wore when she married Ben Affleck.
Created for the couple's 2022 wedding, the OG design is a custom-made piece from the Ralph Lauren collection (photo here) using over 500 meters of fabric. The material is cut into ruffles and then fixed by hand to form a voluminous skirt. The only obvious difference compared to Lopez's latest look seems to be the top: a turtleneck and cap sleeves paired with a plunging necklace and covered arms.
The "Cant Get Enough" singer's wardrobe is pretty interesting considering the widespread speculation about Lopez and Affleck's marital status. Was she trying to hint at something quietly? Yes or no, she does look good in the process.
Jennifer's romantic look
Lopez's flowing long-sleeved gown is in line with Chloé's Fall/Winter 2024 runway collection. Made from organic silk tulle, it has cap sleeves and a dramatic floor-length train that sits loosely on her frame. She left the collar open, creating a plunging neckline, in true J.Lo fashion.
Her accessories were equally eye-catching. She wore a pair of diamond earrings designed by Anabela Chan, high heels and a row of diamond rings.
The gentle charm of stars
To match the ethereal nature of her gown, Lopez's beauty looked equally dreamy. She had a peachy glow, blush cheeks, bronze eyelids, and rosy pink lip gloss. Her hair was styled into a messy bun that looked completely untucked, like she just accidentally looked that good (even if it actually took her stylist hours).
We may never know if Lopez was giving us hints about her marital status, but one thing is clear: She knows how to leave an unforgettable impression on us.
