While some celebrities prefer to start the new year on a quiet note - gradually relaxing their schedules and busy schedules after the holidays - Dua Lipa was ready as soon as New Year's Eve rolled around.
After ringing in 2024 in India, Lipa jetted back to the U.S. for awards season, a press conference for her new film "Argyle" and more. Two days after walking the 2024 Golden Globes red carpet in Los Angeles (in a stunning Schiaparelli look, might I add), she was spotted in New York for an interview on "Late Night with Seth Meyers."
After appearing on the talk show on Jan. 9, she switched up her after-get off work look, accessorizing with the internet's favorite slippers and the most expensive handbag.
Comfortable fashion by Dua
Lipa's casual ensemble featured a variety of cold-weather essentials, starting with an oversized black pea coat, a matching hoodie with built-in cat ears, and baggy sweatpants. To brighten up her all-black look, she wore a thick orange scarf over it.
While on "Late Night with Seth Meyers ," she styled a pair of burgundy patent leather pumps. However, in terms of outfit after the show, Lipa chose a more casual route, matching camel-colored loafers from UGG.
Lipa is the latest fashion girl to join the UGG shoe line, following muses such as Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid.
While the rest of Lipa's look was decidedly cool, her handbag for the night added a decidedly luxe feel. Lipa wore the famous Hermès Birkin 35 (which retails for over $12,000), a bag worn by celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lopez and more love.
The "Dance The Night" singer DIYed the iconic silhouette with charms, bag tags and a $220 silk scarf (also from Hermès) to add a personalized touch to Hollywood's most expensive bag.

Dua loves her Birkin bag
Lipa is a new Birkin baby, and she just can't get enough of this five-figure accessory. In November, she wore the same black leather bag with a stylish leather duster jacket, low-rise biker pants and pointy-toe boots.
Earlier the same month, Lipa also carried it while promoting her new single "Houdini" in London. Paired with different leather trench coats, polo shirts and fiery red hair, the Birkin bag made its debut in her street style rotation. This was before she customized it with colorful accessories.
