Beyoncé's Renaissance film slate omits one of her biggest hits

" Renaissance: The Beyoncé Movie" contains spoilers . Shortly after the Los Angeles premiere of Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour movie on Nov. 25, reports surfaced that the singer had cut some songs and that fans were "sweating" in anticipation of what was included.

Two days later, Variety reported on the film's full set list. Just as Taylor Swift did with her Eras Tour movie, Beyoncé cut five songs for her concert film.

Since the show is 2 hours and 50 minutes long, Beyoncé theoretically has enough time to include the entire concert without having to cut any songs, as shows are usually just over two and a half hours long.

Unlike Swift, however, Bey includes behind-the-scenes footage describing the making of the show, as well as her struggles (like recovering from knee surgery) and triumphs (like Blue Ivy Carter's tour debut and Destiny's Child reunion) personal video.

Although Deadline reported that "much of the Renaissance album" was made into the film, it turns out that every song on the album was included, while some of her older songs were cut , which included a surprising hit song.

If you need to prepare before heading to the theater, here are five songs that weren't included in the Beyoncé Renaissance Tour movie, along with all the performances from the final cut.

"1+1"

Many clips from the film are from the tour's "Folk Prelude," before she launches into a performance of Renaissance songs, starting with "1 + 1," the opening track from her 2011 album 4 .

"I'm coming down"

At the end of "1 + 1," Beyoncé delivers a passionate rendition of Mary J. Blige's "I'm Goin' Down," set to Rose Royce A cover version of the 1976 song. But since "1 + 1" was axed, Bey's version was inevitably cut.

"I care"

While many of 4 's songs made it onto the Renaissance Tour set list, most were cut from the film, including her seminal breakup anthem "I Care."

"Would rather die young"

The four omissions continue with "Rather Die Young," a song Beyoncé had never performed on tour before this year.

"On top of love"

Perhaps most surprisingly, Beyoncé removed one of her biggest hits, "Love On Top," from the movie, including a sample of the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" and the epic that occurred during each performance A never-ending chorus.

"The river is deep and the mountain is high"

Some fans thought Bey's cover of "River Deep and Mountain High" would be removed from the film because she only added it to the setlist after Tina Turner's death. However, it turns out that clips of her performance (not the full performance) were actually shown later in the film when she talks about Turner's impact on her career.

Although these five songs were not selected, Variety reports that the complete setlist does include the famous three songs: "Thique," "All Up In Your Mind" and "Drunk In Love," which Beyoncé is only on tour Choose a show during. If you haven't experienced the coveted trifecta at The Pit Stop, at least this movie will satisfy your cravings.
