'Two broke girls' could live to see best friends succeed

Broke Girls Season 6 finds two of your favorite ladies finally opening a dessert bar next to the restaurant they love to hate. On April 17, the season finale — aptly titled "And Two Broke Girls: The Movie" — will air . Many fans are wondering if 2 Broke Girls will return for a seventh season.

UPDATE: CBS canceled 2 Broke Girls in May, TVLine reports.

EARLIER: Uncertainty over the next season is typical of the 2 Broke Girls universe: Caroline doesn't get her big comeback, and Max even laughs at Caroline's attempts. In the first episode of the season, villain J. Peto, played by Andy Dick, finally gets his revenge and makes the dessert shop unable to operate without a liquor license. After handing over ownership of the restaurant to Han, Caroline declares, "We're going to kill it in 14 business days." In a show where everything comes back to "collapse," Season 7 is great for showing fans what Caroline and It's vital that Max has a chance to win. With the premiere of the Caroline biopic, the ending is a great place to start.

For a show that features real-life best friends Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, this season is all about watching Caroline and Max (Max) finds balance in their lives: balancing the responsibilities of their business with their restaurant, and balancing their complicated and sometimes strange relationships with their family of unconventional diners, with each other and with the men they love. The Season 6 finale focused on Caroline's red carpet debut at the premiere of her biopic. With the dessert bar up and running, Sophie and Oleg adjusting to life as parents, and Max trying to form an adult relationship with on-again, off-again boyfriend Randy, the show seems ready to say goodbye to fans . .

However, in an interview with TVLine , executive producer Michelle Nader claimed that the April 17 episode was "not designed" to be the series finale. "This season has been a bit of a...I don't want to say a reboot for us, but we feel like the show is just getting started in a way ," Nader said . "It opens up a whole new world for us as the girls succeed and find love."

Apparently, in a world where business disputes are settled by arm wrestling, having two broke girls in the bubble is no surprise, as the girls often make moves that come back to them every step forward. This isn't the first time these two broke girls have been underestimated by others, who wonder if they'll fail or succeed. (I'm looking at you, J. Petto.) When the show premiered in 2011, The Weekly described Caroline and Max as "a modern-day Laverne and Shirley ," one of the most recent stories about the show. The good friends work dead-end jobs and dream of bigger things while being surrounded by hilarious secondary characters.

Echoing Nader's sentiments, Season 7 will give fans the chance to watch Caroline and Max go on newer, more exciting adventures. Now that the dessert bar is up and running , who wouldn't want to see it grow and move forward after so many false starts? The storyline of "Two Broken Girls" may be hilarious, but a show about two women supporting each other and taking control of their lives needs a place on television. It's time to witness these two broke girls turn into two girl bosses.
