Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelor has become a hot topic of discussion, and Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will serve as hosts instead of Chris Harrison due to his racism controversy , production reportedly ended early for unknown reasons. Maybe an early engagement? Whatever happens, this season of The Bachelorette will offer new scenery as it's filmed at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. Thurston's appearance will mark the third season of The Bachelor franchise filmed during the coronavirus pandemic. Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams' season of The Bachelorette was filmed at the La Quinta Resort & Spa near Palm Springs, Calif. Matt Matt James' season was filmed at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania. This time around, the cast will race outside of Albuquerque, among the beautiful Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande. Who can deny the romance in heaven?

On February 24, single blogger Reality Steve tweeted that he could "100% confirm" the new location, adding that filming would take place in late March. The tweet comes a month after he initially speculated that The Bachelorette would film in Canada, but the country's latest lockdown restrictions reportedly forced him to change his plans. “Due to Canada’s updated quarantine restrictions last week, I was told The Bachelorette will no longer be filming there next season,” Steve wrote on Twitter. “But they are definitely still looking for a colder weather location. ” Yet somehow, they decided to film Katie’s season of The Bachelorette in New Mexico.

According to the official website, Tamaya Resort is located on 550 acres in the Native American Santa Ana Pueblo between the Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande River. The hotel has 350 rooms, 23 suites, three outdoor swimming pools and a health spa. It also offers horseback riding, yoga classes, hot air balloon rides, golf course and historical site tours, all perfect for those coveted one-on-one dates.

The resort was closed to the public during filming, and contestants weren't allowed to use cell phones, but hosts Adams and Bristow were able to share photos on Instagram from their New Mexico shoot, and the scenery was breathtaking.

Thurston previously competed on Matt James' season of "The Bachelor," and Emmanuel Acho revealed on "After the Final Rose" in March that she would be playing the role. season of The Bachelorette , with Michelle Young taking on the role next season. Regarding Adams and Bristow replacing Harrison on hosting duties, ABC and Warner Bros. released a statement in March:
