Apple took to the virtual stage Monday morning to release a slew of updates and announcements for iOS, artificial intelligence, and the company's smart home devices.
The latter includes updates to AirPods Pro, tvOS and Apple Music, as well as services like SharePlay and Apple FItness+. The Home app is also getting some updates, including new guest access and hands-free unlocking features.

Now you can share who controls music playback on HomePod or HomePod mini through SharePlay and Apple Music. Your friends can add songs to the playlist simply by holding their iPhone close to your iPhone (or scanning a QR code in SharePlay on iPhone). They don't even need to subscribe to Apple Music because they will use your Apple Music.
Continuous camera in Facetime provides live captions when you video chat on the big screen, while Apple Fitness+ adds personalized Recommended for You, Explore, Library and Search features. and an enhanced rewards system, all available on Apple TV.
If you want friends to enter your home via an Apple-powered smart lock, the Home app now lets you do that while also controlling your garage door and security system. All of these can be scheduled as visits based on specific times. The Home app is also not compatible with robot vacuums and lets you manage your power usage (starting with Pacific Gas and Electric in California.
