Samsung's obsession with fooling your friends with tech-filled "frames" shows no signs of stopping. For example, Samsung’s latest Music Frame is integrated into “The Frame” lineup. You may have heard of The Frame TV (now $500 off), which features an anti-glare QLED matte display and a customizable frame, and the idea is that you can use a high-quality art screensaver to mimic the look of art when you're not actively When watching something.

Samsung's new Music Frame is a similar concept, except it's an actual, real-life photo frame (no screen here) with an integrated smart speaker. Debuting at this year's CES conference, the Music Frame is set to launch on April 12, and if you pre-order it through Best Buy, your purchase will include a $100 Best Buy gift card.

Since it's a real picture frame, you can use any 8x8 inch personal photo or artwork. Like The Frame TV, you can also change the frame to any color to match your decor. The speaker is equipped with two woofers, two tweeters and two midrange drivers to deliver Dolby Atmos sound. The woofer fires from the rear, with the driver facing the front. The speaker also features Samsung's SpaceFit technology, which calibrates the audio to your space for optimal performance with a "wide radial sound range." If you have The Frame TV, Music Frame can sync with it using the company's Q-Symphony technology to create a home theater setup. If you have two Music Frames, you can set up a stereo pair.

The Music Frame is also a smart speaker compatible with Alexa, Google, and Bixby (Samsung’s voice assistant). It works as a Bluetooth or WiFi speaker and features Dolby Atmos, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Chromecast, and AirPlay. It also has a Tap Sound feature that allows compatible phones to touch the Music Frame to play media from the speakers.
