Signing up for X is much like other websites, so it's a fairly painless process.
Go to https://twitter.com
Select the registration option you want to use. You can use your phone number/email or Google account.
Mac, iPhone, and iPad users have the additional option of using an Apple ID.
Enter your name and phone number.
Alternatively, to enter your email address, select Use email .
Select Next .
Choose whether you want people to be able to find you by your phone number or email address, whether you want to receive emails about X, and whether you want to receive personalized ads when using X.
You don't have to choose any of them if you don't want to. This is completely optional.
Select Next .
Make sure you have entered your details correctly and select "Register" .
Wait for a verification code to be sent to the phone number or email address you entered.

Codes expire after two hours. Check your email or messages and complete this step before doing so.
Select Next .
Enter your password and select Next .
Make sure your password is secure and difficult to guess.
Select a profile picture and select Next .
Choose a profile picture for your X account that matches your personality or overall goals, whether it's your business logo or a fun photo of your pet.
Enter a brief introduction about yourself and select Next .
Keep it short and make sure it conveys why you're using X. If you are a professional user, you may want to list your titles and honors. For personal use, including your favorite hobbies and interests. up to you.
Select what you're interested in so X can suggest related accounts to follow, then select Next .
If your favorite interest isn't listed, search for it via the search bar above the tab.
Select "Follow" to follow some recommended accounts, then select "Next."
Joining X is easy, but you're not done yet. Here are some steps to make your experience more personalized.
X assigns you a random username based on the name you entered when you signed up. Here's how to change it.
Select the silhouette in the upper right corner, then select Settings and Privacy .
In the Username field at the top of the screen, enter your desired new username, then scroll down and select Save changes .
When you enter a new username, an X tells you whether the username is available. Make original choices.
You're done! You can now find your profile here https://twitter.com/yourusername.
X would love to celebrate your birthday by offering you balloons on your profile page. Add your birthday from the home screen by entering the correct date and select Save .
