For most people who want to take their stories with them, the latest Amazon Kindle will suffice. With 16 GB of storage, you can fit thousands of e-books in its library. The 300 ppi high-resolution display makes it look like you're actually reading a printed book. It also features a glare-free paper display that feels a bit like paper. The battery lasts an average of six weeks, depending on your usage and brightness settings. Amazon's Kindle is on sale for $79.99 (originally $99.99), matching the lowest price the price checker has shown in the past few months.

It has the same features as the Paperwhite, but also has auto-adjusting lights and wireless charging (and, of course, the ability to take notes with the included stylus).
