This article explains how to trade stars in Monopoly Go by sending stickers to friends. Since stars cannot be sent and received directly in the Monopoly Go mobile game, this sticker strategy is the best and only way to unlock stars with friends.
The instructions on this page apply to the Monopoly Go app on Apple and Android devices.
To send stars to your Monopoly Go friends, you need to send them duplicate stickers from your collection. If you send them a star they already own, they will receive a star which they can then redeem for rewards.
Here are the steps on how to send extra stickers (which unlock stars) to your friends in Monopoly Go .
Click the photo album .
Select a sticker collection to view its contents.
This screen does not show which set has dual stickers. You'll need to manually check each collection to see which one has stickers you can send to friends.
Choose a sticker that has at least one double. Duplicates have a small white label on the lower left side.
The +1 sticker means you have an extra sticker to send to your friends. +2 means you have two extras, +3 means three extras, and so on. No tags means you only have the initial stickers from your collection and nothing extra to send to friends.
Click to send to a friend .
Select a friend from your Monopoly Go friends list.
If you want to ask your friend to send you a sticker before they receive one from you, tap the Make Swap icon at the bottom of the screen.
Click Continue .
Select Send to send the sticker to your friend.
Click OK .
Select the X at the bottom of the screen to exit the sticker menu and return to the main Monopoly Go game screen.
In Monopoly Go , you earn a star for every extra or double sticker you have in your photo album. For example, when you first get the "Stage Dreams" sticker, it completes the entry in your sticker album. If you happen to get the Stage Dream sticker again in the future, this sticker will be classified as a double or extra.
If you have three additional stickers, you will receive three stars, which can be redeemed for in-game prizes.
Monopoly Go stickers are randomly awarded through sticker packs. Sticker packs typically contain one to three stickers as rewards for completing special tasks or activities, reaching certain milestones, and playing the Prize Wheel mini-game. This may require a lot of dice rolling.
Sometimes you can purchase sticker packs with real-world money in Monopoly Go through the store menu as part of an add-on bundle. Sticker packs are mostly earned by playing the game, though. You can also ask friends to send you personal stickers by following the steps at the top of this page.
