Wise Care 365 v6 Review

Wise Care 365 is a free software system optimization tool. This means that it contains different applications, all in one program.

Among many other features (all listed below), one that stands out to me is the ability to automatically clean log files, temporary files, invalid Windows registry entries, browsing history, etc.

I've used this program regularly over the years and have never had anything to complain about.

what we like
  • Includes many free and useful tools.

  • Some tools can be automated.

  • You have full control over exactly what gets cleaned.

  • Some tools are available from the right-click context menu.

  • Available as a portable program, no installation required.

  • Do not attempt to install unrelated software during the installation process.

what we don't like
  • Some tools are labeled "PRO" and require paid upgrades to use.

Some system optimizers have unique features that set them apart from other similar software. However, every feature in Wise Care 365 is included in similar programs. I couldn't find anything unique that I couldn't find anywhere else.

Here is a list of each tool:

Auto shutdown, data recovery, deleted file eraser, disk cleanup, disk defragmentation, empty file scanner, quick search, file shredder (drive/files/folders/free space), folder hider, force delete lock Files, Internet Speed Tuner, Junk Cleaner, Memory Optimizer, One-Click Cleaner, Password Generator, Privacy Cleaner, Program Uninstaller, Process Monitor, Registry Cleaner, Registry Defragmenter, Services and Apps Startup manager, shortcut repairer, startup/shutdown accelerator, system information tool, system optimizer

Some other tools are included, such as an advanced privacy cleaner, large file manager , and context menu cleaner, but they are not free to use.

  • Runs on Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP
  • You can get the portable version of Wise Care 365 from the General Settings tab of the installable version
  • Registry Cleaner can optionally be set to scan deeper than the default settings
  • You can use it to delete Windows pre-installed files and other useless files such as installation files, cache files, help files and sample media files in one go
  • It clears registry errors and deletes temporary files on a schedule
  • Custom folders can be cleaned with system cleaner
  • Custom folders, files, file types, registry keys, and domains can be excluded from cleaning
  • Instead of manually creating a registry backup, Wise Care 365 automatically builds one before cleaning the registry
  • "Floating Window" allows you to manually optimize system memory at any time, or you can set it to automatically optimize when memory usage exceeds a certain threshold
  • Completely wipe individual files and/or the entire hard drive using the random data data cleaning method

This program may be a bit low-powered compared to other system optimizers, but it has a very good memory optimizer that shouldn't be ignored.

Wise Memory Optimizer can run when you first log into Windows, minimize to the system tray, and can execute when memory usage exceeds a certain amount. You can even use this tool to optimize memory when your computer is idle.

I like this feature because I don't have to run it manually. It's always in the notification area and doesn't seem to be using many system resources. You can run it manually, but configure it and forget it is the easiest way to use it.

As I wrote above, a disk cleaner is included. It's slightly different from similar programs in that there's also an advanced cleaner that can scan certain file types. For example, you can scan all connected hard drives for file types such as FTS, DMP, thumbs.db, BAK, and LOG. These files are often associated with files you don't need because they are temporary files or backup files. It can also find empty files and invalid shortcuts.

As you use the program, you'll notice that several buttons have PRO labels on them. This means that certain features are only available in the upgraded paid version of Wise Care 365. Most of the pro features are actually options you'd find in similar free programs.

Ads to purchase the full version often appear when you close the program, which can be annoying if you don't plan on upgrading. But overall, if you're looking for an easy-to-use, free system optimizer, give this one a try and you won't be disappointed.
