Lady Gaga drives her classmates 'crazy' on college singing show

Lady Gaga's former classmate has revealed how pop music trends pissed her off while she was at university.

Former Bachelor star Carly Waddell recently revealed on the Trade Secrets podcast that she attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts at the same time as Gaga (real name Stefani Germanotta).

Waddell recalled her time at school, claiming Gaga irritated her classmates by loudly singing "Wicked" songs every day.

"[We] would eat in the dance studio, and there was a piano," Waddell shared. "She would sit at the piano every day and play and sing... and we just wanted to have lunch."

She continued: "How is she? Of course! She's great, but I just want to eat my sandwich. So I used to eat in the hallway all the time because she was driving me crazy."

Gaga is always Gaga

Waddell also recalled Gaga's quirky fashion sense, revealing that even in college, she was "very special" when it came to fashion.

"She would wear these really tight leotards," Waddell added. "She had really big boobs at the time and it was like her boobs were coming out. She was so ridiculous."

As for Gaga's musical talent, Waddell also said on the Trading Secrets podcast that she performs best when singing her own compositions.

"When she performed at the NYU talent show and she sang her own thing, I was like, 'You can't argue with that, that girl is really good,'" Waddell added. "She was good at everything, but she was better at her own thing. She sat at the piano and wailed her own tunes."

They all dropped out of school

Waddell, who dropped out of NYU Tisch at the same time as Gaga, added that she wasn't sure how Gaga would take her talents to the next level after leaving school.

"I don't know what she did, but she was a genius," Waddell added. "We both quit the project because we didn't like it and I'm sure she was as unhappy as I was, otherwise she would have stayed."
