Bey Hive not happy with Beyoncé’s wax figure

On Tuesday, a well-intentioned user tweeted a photo of a Beyoncé wax figure that he claimed was on display at a Madame Tussauds location. The photo was immediately criticized because while the person in the photo was supposed to be Beyoncé, the likeness wasn't perfect, to say the least. In fact, Beyoncé's wax figure looks nothing like her, and fans aren't happy about it.

UPDATE: The wax figure has reportedly been removed from the museum floor and put back in with some modifications to make it look more like Beyoncé, TMZ reports.

EARLIER: The wax figure's interpretation barely resembles Queen B. People noticed an eerie resemblance to Lindsay Lohan's face, with hair that was too flat and skin that was noticeably lighter than in real life. For all these reasons, the wax figure didn't do the star justice, with members of The Hive criticizing it online.

It has also been revealed that the star has been wronged by the wax museum in the past. It seems impossible for any figure to look anything like Beyoncé, but Twitter users have rounded up other attempts to capture the star in wax that are even more shocking. There were so many changes that some fans wondered if the sculptors had ever met Beyoncé in real life, and if so, why they chose not to capture the queen's likeness. It seems like they must have been trying hard not to capture the star's features, and to ignore her beauty and fierceness seems like a real insult. Check out the initial tweet below:

The initial post received immediate backlash and sparked further discussion about the matter. Many users were shocked that the character was considered a celebrity and took to Twitter to pose their questions:

This isn't the first misconception about the star, with other users sharing other failed attempts at the wax museum to take on Beyoncé:

The only thing the wax sculptor seems to know about Beyoncé is that she sometimes puts one hand in the air. Another loser showed the same thing:

It's unclear who these wax figures actually are, but fans seem to agree that they're definitely not Bey. Maybe Shakira, or Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan, maybe Uma Thurman if she pursues a career in pop music. But none of these explanations read Beyoncé’s point.

To make matters worse, Kylie Jenner showed off her own wax figure on Instagram on Tuesday, and it's incredible:

Jenner posted a photo of herself with the statue on Instagram: "Thank you @tussaudsla for this honor! ? Going to Hollywood tomorrow to visit my daughter and look at the dress I wore to last year's Met Gala!"

Some fans are wondering why the reality star has been photographed with such a striking resemblance, but the exact Bey can't be found.

Bustle reached out to Madame Tussauds for comment regarding the original photo of the wax figure and to ask if they claimed ownership of the photo, but had not received a response at the time of publication.

Perhaps the outrage this sparked will inspire wax carvers around the world to watch Beyoncé's music videos or view images online. If Jenner's photos are anything to go by, a powerful portrait can be made, and no one deserves it more than Queen B.
