Arguably the best part about anthology shows is that because actors only have to commit to one episode rather than an entire season, they're often able to bring in some of Hollywood's most sought-after talent. Room 104 is one such series. Season 1 stars James Van der Beek, Melonie Diaz, Keir Gilchrist and Adam Foster ), the cast of Room 104 Season 2 will be even more star-studded than Room 104 Season 2 when the show returns on November 9. forward.

The second season of the 12-episode series will kick off with a two-episode premiere event, followed by consecutive episodes each week. For those unfamiliar with the project, it's the brainchild of Mark and Jay Duplass, the couple who also created the HBO series Animals . Each episode is set in the same motel room, and each episode has a different style, focusing on the story of the characters passing through. Room 104 is not modeled after a real hotel, but rather is supposed to embody the poignant daily activities that take place in this impermanent yet quintessentially American setting. Who better to bring these moments to life than Season 2’s all-star cast?

He plays a pool shark trying to convince his down-on-his-luck cousin (Earle) to stay in the game.

Judy Greer

Judy Greer always seems to be playing the best friend, like she did in 13 Going On 30 , or an odd supporting role, like she did in Arrested Development That way. Star Trek fans will remember Wiseman from her role as cadet Sylvia Tilly in Star Trek: Discovery , but her role in Room 104 was less sci-fi and more surreal. In the season finale, Wiseman's character communicates with her younger self, asking her to reenact an impactful night from her past.

Another great thing about an anthology series like Room 104 is that you don’t need to watch the episodes in order. Start with an episode featuring your favorite stars and jump around from there. None of this sounds like it would be easy to skip, though.
