Here's the question on everyone's mind: Is John from Big Brother 17 actually a dentist? If he is, how can I make an appointment with John from Big Brother 17 to get his teeth cleaned? Because I can't think of anything that would get my mouth pried open and my exposed bones drilled into more than this guy yelling in my ear. Doubts about John's profession were at an all-time high - Da'Vonne point-blank asked him if he was lying about being a dentist - and since I myself was curious to know the truth about the man, I thought Know if he is a dentist. Who he says he is may be worth it.
So, just like Meg Ryan in Sleepless in Seattle , I put my crazy sleuthing skills to work this afternoon and typed “John McQueen” into my fancy Google search field "El", "Dentist", "Scranton" and pray to find a match. .
And the verdict is...
Yes. This is real. John R. McGuire is a true dentist. He is a dentist at Keystone Dental Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania, whose specialties include Invisalign, dental implants, root canals and tooth extractions, according to his profile on the clinic's official website. Sounds exciting!
Something else to note: The Big Brother 17 star has only been working at the clinic for a year (since completing his residency in 2014) and earned his medical degree from Temple University in 2013. The clinic's website also lists his hobbies as John claims they are: guitar, music production, skiing and video games.
As for a date with Dr. McGuire, apparently we'll all have to wait until the end of Big Brother Season 17, because even if John is kicked out, he'll be "on vacation" until the final episode, which is still three months away from voting. . but! Once he returns to the clinic, anyone in the Scranton area (or willing to travel to the area) can make an appointment with Dr. McGuire through the clinic's website. There's a super convenient appointment request form right next to the doctor's interest list!
In fact, now that I think about it, you probably don't want to wait. I'm sure his calendar will be swamped once he leaves the Big Brother house, so best to book in advance. See you in the waiting room? I'll be the one reading Highlights and stocking up on lollipops (probably sugar-free).
