Jaffa Cakes has been on a roller coaster ride over the past year. With so many new flavors for die-hard fans to try (cassis, we're looking at you), enjoying Jaffa has never been more exciting. But don't rush, because the best is yet to come; McVitie's is launching donuts made from Jaffa cake. Yes, you read that right. Where can you buy Jaffa Cake Jonuts (perhaps the best name ever) and try it yourself.
Jonut (which is a combination of Jaffa Cake and Donut, wouldn't you know) were first teased back in April on the @newfoodsuk Instagram page, which promised they would be "coming to Tesco soon". Look no further; you'll be able to buy these beauties starting this Sunday, May 16th.
McVitie's describes the delicious treat as "layers of crunchy dark chocolate, light springy sponge and tangy orange filling in a donut-shaped ring...". They will be sold in Tesco stores across the UK, priced at just 60p each or £1.99 for a pack of four. What's more, the packaging of these goodies will be recyclable, which means you can pick up that box of four too, right? !
As well as Tesco, Jonuts will also be available at other retailers from the end of June.
