Chicken lovers will love McDonald's new burger: the Crispy McFee. However, it's not the easiest item to get your hands on, as it's only available in a limited number of stores in the central region (41 to be exact).
This burger features crispy 100% chicken breast fillets, black pepper mayonnaise and coleslaw lettuce on a sourdough sesame seed bun. "The Crispy McFeely aims to be the most delicious chicken burger ever!" states the official press release.
The meal, priced at £5.59, will only be available in cultural hotspots such as Birmingham and Coventry for 14 weeks. According to the fast food chain: "Birmingham has a fantastic culture, especially among our young people, so it feels like the perfect audience to taste the new age of McDonald's chicken."
To celebrate its launch, McDonald's hosted an event with Birmingham artist MIST and presenter Yung Filly, serving up Crispy McFlys to excited local performers including BMX athletes, dancers, sports stars and magicians .
Michelle Graham-Clare, chief marketing officer at McDonald’s UK and Ireland, said of the new burger: “We know how much our customers love our iconic chicken menu item, so we’ve spent the A lot of time goes into making crispy muffins that are full of flavor and truly delight our customers.”
