Cadbury returns to 90s Christmas classic

The once beloved chocolate is making its way back onto store floors. Cadbury has confirmed the return of its retro festive chocolate Cadbury Pudding, much to our delight. Last sold 18 years ago, these delicious chocolates will arrive in supermarkets in time for the festive period.

Cadbury Pudding is similar to Christmas pudding and is a dessert launched every December. This chocolate, filled with hazelnut truffles and wrapped in a rice crispy shell, was popular in the 1980s and 1990s.

Blog Snack News & Reviews revealed the chocolates will be back over the Christmas period. Those with a sweet tooth can find limited-edition Cadbury Pudding in supermarkets, reports retail specialist magazine The Grocer.

As well as the puddings, Cadbury will launch several other delicious products as part of its Christmas chocolate range, including Winter Orange Dairy Milk bars and a range of traditional Cadbury Advent calendars. They will also collaborate with homewares brand Cath Kidston to launch limited edition rose tins.

Cadbury parent company Mondelez said the range will "help retailers make this a memorable year for shoppers by building treasured memories and lifelong rituals".

Cadbury Pudding is now available on the Cadbury Gift Direct website, retailing at 65p.

A Cadbury spokesman said: "We're always listening to Cadbury fans and love hearing about the products they want to try. This year's Christmas range reflects that and we really have some exciting new products for chocolate lovers and Back to hospitality. Watch this space – all will be revealed soon.”

We absolutely can't wait to try these chocolate treats come Christmas - let the countdown begin.
