Taco Bell just added a new Pineapple Whip frozen drink to its summer menu

It may not feel like summer when you're stuck at home, but Taco Bell is definitely getting into the spirit of the season. As the temperatures heat up, Taco Bell's new Pineapple Whip Frozen Drink is the perfect summer drink to try for just $1.

Frozen Pineapple Whip is basically a non-alcoholic pina colada. It's made with a pineapple frozen base and a big pump of vanilla creamer. The flavors come together to create a fun drink that's perfect for warm weather. Pineapple Whip Freeze was officially released on May 21st, one month before the start of summer on June 20th. The drink is priced at $2.39 per regular size and $2.59 per large glass. But if you go to the Taco Bell drive-thru during happy hour between 2 and 5 p.m., you can get the drink for just $1. You'll experience the tropical freshness of this drink at a super cheap price. Plus, this drink comes with a super cute green fruit-style lid that makes you feel like you're drinking from a real pineapple.

The Pineapple Whip Freeze isn't the only drink of its kind from Taco Bell. As part of the chain's secret menu, there's another frozen treat you can try that's a tangy, fruity twist on Taco Bell's other frozen items. The Secret Menu Freeze is a combination of Pineapple Whip Freeze, Mountain Dew Baja Freeze, and Wild Strawberry Freeze.

The Wild Strawberry Freeze is the last item Taco Bell has recently added to its menu. Launched on April 16, the drink contains tiny candy seeds that really make you feel like you're tasting wild strawberries.

Although Taco Bell has closed dine-in options at restaurants across the country, it has maintained drive-thru and takeout options and is consistently adding new additions to its menu to keep customers happy at home. In addition to the Pineapple Whip Freeze, some of Taco Bell’s recent additions include $10 Nacho Craving Packs, special free drive-thru treats, and a truck drive-thru at its headquarters for hungry first responders car.

While you may miss out on eating at your favorite fast food restaurants, you can still take their taste home with you. Whether it’s drive-thru or pick-up, you can maintain safe social distance while still enjoying your usual comfort meals.
