Gordon Ramsay approves of this viral college dorm filet mignon

Gordon Ramsay has built a career on his award-winning skills in the kitchen and ruthless cooking commentary. However, an "impressive" viral recipe has managed to win over the notoriously tough celebrity chef. On TikTok, a user named lazypotnoodle uploaded a video of himself enjoying filet mignon in his college dormitory. Chef Ramsay first quipped in response to the 60-second video: "What happened to the $3 ramen? You've upgraded to a five-star steak!"

After adding a little oil, the TikToker first sears the steak slices in what Ramsay describes as a "nice little pan," then adds butter, seasonings and rosemary. "Love this, oh my god!" the Hell's Kitchen star excitedly added. "Your dormitory smells fresh of rosemary."

The TikTok user then bastes the steak with sauce, flips it a few times, and lets the meat rest before slicing and serving. "And it's pink! So good," Ramsay concluded, giving his approval to the dormitory dish.

Another user commented on the video, which has been viewed more than 52 million times: "No one can say anything about his steak, Gordon approved it." Another joked: "Imagine you wake up in the morning and go to your dormitory to use the toilet or get a drink of water and your college roommate is on the other side cooking a five-star meal." "I think if Gordon Ramsay was right I say 'great' and I cry," joked a third.

As previously mentioned, Ramsay has nearly 40 million followers on TikTok, and he is known for his cruel food reviews on the platform. In addition to college dorm steaks, the TV chef recently shared his thoughts on fish and chips, fried pizza, water burgers, watermelon pizza and fried avocado — and as expected, the Michelin stars didn't hold back.
