Greggs starts pumpkin spice latte season early

Pumpkin spice and all things wonderful, fall may not officially be here until September 22nd, but Greggs isn't letting a minor technicality like dates get in the way of selling one of the tastiest things about the new season. Greggs has launched a pumpkin spice latte, and they're way ahead of any other coffee chain this year.

Greggs is taking autumn excitement to a whole new level with the launch of its Pumpkin Spice Latte on menus across the UK on 26 August. This warming drink is made with fresh fair trade coffee, pumpkin spice flavored syrup and steamed milk foam. You can top it with cream and spiced sugar for £1.95.

Hannah Squirrell, account director at Greggs, said: “The return of the fan-favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte to our menu will no doubt delight our customers nationwide. The coffee is hugely popular with our customers and we’re delighted to be back Launching another coffee offers a delicious addition to our extensive product range.”

This year, Greggs is making it even easier to get your hands on seasonal produce. You can buy a pumpkin spice latte in-store, or use Greggs' click-and-collect service to pre-order your coffee before heading to the bakery to avoid waiting in line. If you can't leave your desk, you can even order one through Just Eat.

When Greggs announced the product on Instagram, one fan wrote, "I'm so excited for fall!" while another made it clear it might be a little too early to get into the Halloween spirit, saying, "OMG stop that Yeah. It's still August." The general consensus, however, was overwhelmingly positive. "Ah you make my day," one happy follower wrote.
