M&S's new cheesy Marmite waffles are the snack of dreams (or nightmares)

Just in time for the festive season, Marks & Spencer has launched its latest Marmite spread to divide opinion and spark some family feuds. Marks & Spencer has launched new Cheesy Marmite Waffles, following the launch of Marmite Cream Cheese, Marmite Hummus, Marmite Cheesy Twists and Marmite Peanut Butter. While I've personally never been a fan of Marmite, I think these mini snacks could convert me. We'll see.

The mini waffles, ready for the party season, come in a pack of ten (£7) and, according to the description, are "topped with gooey mature cheddar cheese and melted Marmite and topped with parsley." They recommend using them in the oven Cook for 12 minutes and serve to friends and family who love Marmite.

M&S announced their "bad boy" Marmite on Instagram, promising the cheese waffles will be "next level". They wrote: "Our Mar-mite has done it again with the launch of our all-new EPIC Cheesy Marmite Waffles! These bad boys are now here and ready to wow everyone!"

Whether you love them or hate them, the Marmite and M&S collaboration is sure to get people talking and M&S fans have plenty to say. "Heaven in scones!!" wrote one die-hard Marmite lover. "How is that possible!!! I need this in my life," another person said in the comments. These mini muffins are already a huge win.

Oh, go ahead - I'm convinced. Since I've never been one to say no to scones, I was eager to try these mini snacks topped with Marmite.

If you too want your curiosity to get the better of you, you can find the waffles in Marks and Spencer stores this week. While you're stocking up, you might also like Marmite Cream Cheese and Marmite Butter , which were launched earlier this year.

Also head to the M&S marmite page for very unique recipes. "Why not slather the rump in butter to give it a meaty flavour?" teased M&S. Well, sounds risky, but I like it. It also recommends "melting Marmite® butter over potatoes, corn on the cob, or roasted parsnips to add depth and savory flavor."

As always, M&S really knows how to sell it.
