Simone Biles uses Taylor Swift song in her Olympic trials

With the 2024 Paris Olympics getting underway in just a few weeks, Simone Biles is already reminding the world why she's the greatest gymnast of all time. At the U.S. Olympic Trials in Minneapolis on Friday, she performed some of the most difficult falls in women's gymnastics as she twirled on the mat with her signature ease.

She performed her floor moves to a medley that included Taylor Swift's Reputation hit "...Are You Ready?" which also featured Travis Scott. ’s “Delresto (Echoes),” starring Beyoncé.

Many people quickly recognized the music and shared their excitement about the star's crossover. Over on I felt like I could walk through a brick wall.”

Taylor Swift herself was attracted to such a routine and expressed her affection for the athlete in the comments section. "Watched this so many times and still not ready. She is ready??????❤️," the singer wrote on X.

This isn't the first time Swift has backed Biles' historic career. In 2021, shortly after news broke that she would be taking a break from gymnastics to focus on her mental health, she created a video tribute to the athlete.

"I've been blessed to see you over the years, but this week has been a lesson in emotional intelligence and resilience," Swift responded to Biles at the time. "We all learn from you. Thank you."

Biles is the most decorated gymnast of all time, having won seven medals at the Olympics, and she headlined joining Team USA for the Paris Games.

On Friday, she scored a 15.975 on vault, her highest score of the night, by more than a point. When she performed the Yurchenko double dip, the most complex and difficult vault in women's gymnastics, during her warm-up, she received a standing ovation from the crowd. Last year, Biles became the first woman to perform the move at an international competition, so the competition was dubbed "Biles II."

This year will be Biles’ third Olympic appearance. If she's in her Reputation days, we can't wait to see her star power in Paris.
