RHOSLC Season 4 Trailer and Storyline
Bravo premieres its fourth season on August 11, along with a preview of all the explosive drama fans can expect from each of the women:
• After a cold season, Lisa Barlow is making amends with one of her oldest friends, Meredith, but they still have a long way to go. As Lisa's oldest son, Jack, prepares to leave home, find his place in the Mormon Church and begin exploring the traditional elements of the religion, Lisa is forced to evaluate her new wave Mormon lifestyle. Although Lisa enjoys the finer things in life, her luxurious and expensive tastes annoy some of the women, leading to a confrontation with the new housewife Monica.
• Monica Garcia was introduced to the group through her friend Angie, but the women soon realized they recognized her through another familiar face. Monica, an ex-Mormon who was excommunicated, raised her four children and ran her baby products business on her own. To make matters worse, she was dealing with a second divorce from her husband and a rocky relationship with her mother. Outspoken, opinionated, and never afraid to speak her mind, Monica has no qualms about speaking her mind, even if it gets her into hot water with other women.
• Heather Gay 's book became a success, her career flourished, she landed a spot on the New York Times bestseller list, and she bought her family a new house. After publicly denouncing Mormonism, her daughters are struggling with the fallout in their Salt Lake City community. Heather and Lisa finally find some common ground, and "Bad Weather" makes great strides in rebuilding trust in each other, but their relationship is far from fully repaired.
• From friends to housewives, Angie Katsanevas and her husband, Shawn, own and operate multiple hair salons throughout Salt Lake City. When rumors about their marriage start circulating, Angie hopes to find the culprit before they cause any damage to their family. As Angie navigates the chaos and changing dynamics of the team, Lisa loyally stands by her side.
• Meredith Marks continues to expand her successful jewelry line and dedicate her time to charitable causes close to her heart. At home, her children were thriving, her marriage to Seth was stronger than ever, and the two started a podcast to share advice and anecdotes. Tensions with the women flared up again when Meredith was accused of dropping a bombshell without actually getting her hands dirty.
• Whitney Rose focuses her efforts on launching a new luxury jewelry line that emphasizes spirituality and healing. Justin returns to work, Whitney dives into launching a new brand, and the couple struggles to find a balance between CEO life and being caregivers to their children. Whitney and Heather work on forgiveness and trust, but her relationship with Meredith is beyond repair after an accusation that irritates her.
• After a year away from women, Mary Cosby is back with her unique, unfiltered perspective. Her friendship with Meredith remains as strong as ever, but she struggles to find her feet with the other ladies while dealing with old wounds and potential new friendships on the team.
Page Six reported on May 8 that Whitney and Lisa will also feud in season four. Ahead of the cast's trip to Bermuda, which is set to begin on May 13, producers are reportedly "preparing for an explosive situation" between the pair, a source said.
Will Jen Shah join RHOSLC Season 4?
On January 6, Jen was sentenced to 78 months in prison after pleading guilty to wire fraud charges in July 2022. Interestingly, during sentencing, Jen's attorney claimed that she was still employed by Bravo, even though Andy essentially cut ties with her after claiming the network pleaded guilty in October.
Days later, Andy took to his SiriusXM radio show to react to Jen's sentencing and set the record straight about her future on RHOSLC . "I thought, 'Did you know this woman is going to jail on January 6th?'" he explained. "They're not going to give her time. So tell me, is she on the show? Like, what do you want me to say about whether she's on the show or not? She's going to serve her sentence. I don't understand what people want me to say... ...Looks like the judge has sorted it out for us, doesn’t it?”
And it did leave the door open for a sit-down interview with Jen. "I'm hoping to talk to Jen this weekend," he said, "and I'm hoping I can sit down with her on camera and get the results back to you." However, Jen backed out of the interview while making plans, saying Bravo didn't would agree to her contract requirements.
While fans shouldn't expect to see Jen reprise her role as a housewife, filming for Season 4 reportedly began on February 13, just four days before she was jailed. That means Jen could make a brief appearance in the season premiere, or at the very least, her former co-stars could react to her departure in real time. It's also possible that her RHOSLC castmates will be in touch with her by phone, and may even travel to visit Jen in prison or, as Whitney mistakenly put it in Season 3, have a "conjugal visit."
