Before you move in with someone, you can vet them with a brief interview to see if you'll get along well. If you're already friends, you may be dreaming about what it would be like to share a space. That said, none of this will save you from a bad experience, especially if they are one of the zodiac signs listed below.

Aries (March 21-April 19)
If you live with an Aries, you may not see them that often, but you'll certainly hear their voices. This fire sign will come home all night and slam the microwave shut, throw away the cups and plates, and close the cabinets as if they're the only ones living there.
It's common for Aries to be night owls, and they'll make up for it by sleeping all day the next day. They stay in bed while everyone else in the house is awake - they might even have the audacity to text in the group chat asking you all to quiet down.
According to Bell, Aries are impulsive by nature, so it can be challenging to put up with all their little problems and mishaps, especially if you're looking for a laid-back or orderly environment. However, if you are looking to create a fun party house, they are your best bet.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22)
When looking for a roommate, friendly Cancer may seem like a good choice, but once they move in, the chaos begins.
According to Bell, this water sign easily takes things personally, so they are often at the center of conflicts. They hold emergency roommate meetings to discuss everything that's making them nervous, whether it's the heating bill or someone leaving dirty socks on the bathroom floor. They have no composure when it comes to other people's behavior.
At the same time, Bell says, Cancers value their time at home so much that they often make themselves a little too comfortable and become a bit of a hypocrite. This sign will eat the last of your yogurt, stay in the shower for an hour, then forget to pay the bill, and then get really upset when you call them out on it.
Virgo (August 23-September 22)
Virgos are happy to run an apartment like a tight ship, but they can easily go to extremes and become obsessed with power. Bell says this earth sign can be overly meticulous, especially when it comes to cleanliness and order, so they may cause friction with roommates.
While it may seem nice to live with someone who wants to design a chore schedule, the magic quickly wears off when they knock on your door and ask why you haven't vacuumed. Virgos tend to act like their roommates are annoying tenants, even though everyone pays the same rent.
