Twihards and Vampire Diaries fanatics rejoice! Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder are officially married! I would say it was a gorgeous game. The two have been inseparable for nearly a year and got engaged in January this year. Not only do they make an amazing couple, they clearly have a lot in common. The "Twilight" actor, 26, and the "Vampire Diaries" star, 36, reportedly asked their guests to donate to their favorite animal rescue charity in lieu of gifts. "We were able to have such a long-lasting friendship because we were passionate about similar things," Reed said, according to People magazine .
But I'm not the only one raving about the couple, Somerhalder's The Vampire Diaries co-star Kat Graham said of the couple: "They are literally perfect - from “It’s really exciting when you see two amazing people come together. "Wow!
Even though Reed and Somerhalder got married in Malibu, California and wore all white, it reminded me of their more vampiric alter egos. If Damon Salvatore and Rosalie Hale tied the knot, I'm sure things would look even darker. This is what their monumental wedding looked like.

It might be for the best if Rosalie's ex-love Emmett skips these weddings. Too many unstable vampires in one place is like a disaster waiting to happen. The rest of the Cullen family will definitely be on the list, and Renesmee will be Rosalie's maid of honor. Damon's friends and frenemies from Mystic Falls will be in attendance. (But probably not Klaus.) Apparently, his brother Stefan was his best man, because who wouldn't want to see the Salvatore brothers waiting for them at the end of the aisle. Needless to say, the Volturi would not be invited.
Place
As sweet as Mystic Falls is, I don't believe the town can handle another influx of vampires and supernatural beings. Exotic locations can be troublesome, as I doubt every vampire heading to a wedding can fake a daylight ring. As I said before, there are always the feared Volturi. It seemed that the most logical location was Forks, Washington. Damon and Rosalie are both brooding and dark, so I thought the perfect location for their ceremony would be in the woods near Cullen's house at dusk.
dress
This dress has always been one of my favorite parts of weddings. Although Nikki Reed wore a stunning white lace mermaid gown in real life; Rosalie's pale skin and blonde hair would presumably have been washed this light color. Instead, I could definitely see her rocking a crimson color with red lips on her wedding day. The bold colors are an ode to love, danger, and of course...blood.
oath
In the world of vampires, true death is extremely difficult. I think Damon and Rosalie committing to each other for a century or so should be enough. Clearly, a life together seems optimistic. (I mean, think about it, what if each of them decided they wanted to try again with Elena and Emmett.)
reception
The blood will obviously flow freely; a blood fountain will make a wonderful addition to the reception decor. For the werewolves in attendance, something more substantial would be served, like steak and potatoes. There will be an open bar serving the finest dark liquor (vampires seem to be more attracted to brandy, whiskey and bourbon than brandy, whiskey and bourbon). Catfish and the Bottlemen will provide musical entertainment for guests on site. The highlight of the party, however, was the cake. Dark chocolate cake with strawberry filling and buttercream. After all, what’s a wedding without a cake?
honeymoon
Italy is a romantic place; the perfect place to start a marriage. The premise is that Damon and Rosalie stay away from the Volturi's home on Volterra; their solar rings mean they can roam freely throughout the rest of the country. The ruins of Rome would be the perfect place for newlyweds to visit.
Although Damon Salvatore and Rosalie Hale are fictional characters, it's fun to imagine what their wedding would be like. Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder looked gorgeous at their wedding; they looked so excited and in love. As Somerhalder tweeted, it sure looked like "the most beautiful morning ever."
