Adele and gay bars go together like peanut butter and jelly. Just weeks after completing the first leg of her Las Vegas residency, the 16-time Grammy winner headed to Miami Beach to celebrate Pride and seemed to be having the time of her life. As seen in the video that went viral on Twitter, Adele visited gay nightclub Twist, where she sang along to Katy Perry's 2010 hit single "Teenage Dream," which The song has been remixed. "I can't sleep, let's run away and never look back," she sings. Another video also shows her belting out the chorus to Sia's 2011 dance track "Titanium" and encouraging the audience to sing the high notes with her.
The lucky nightclub-goer also posted a video to their Instagram Stories of Adele dancing to "oontz oontz" music with a drink in hand, as one Twitter user put it. According to onlookers, Adele was in the VIP area of the club as expected, but she took the time to mingle with fans and say goodbye as she left.
This isn't the first time Adele has gone viral after going to a gay club. In March 2019, the singer hit up New York City's gay bar Pieces with her famous friend Jennifer Lawrence, where the two danced, drank, and got into some hilarious shenanigans. Adele played a round of "Musical Shots" with three other clubgoers, dancing to Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You Out of My Head" around a table with just three shots. She lost the round, causing Lawrence to throw her to the ground while laughing. "Jennifer, this isn't the Hunger Games," the DJ joked, before the actor took the microphone from him to express her disappointment. "You are the biggest drinker I know, how could you lose?" she shouted.
In February 2022, Adele made a surprise appearance at the famous London nightclub GAY after the 2022 Brit Awards, helping British "RuPaul's Drag Race" star Cheryl Hall serve as a striptease competition judge. To commemorate the evening, she even performed a pole dancing routine for attendees. The drag queen later revealed on Twitter that Adele watches drag shows just like the rest of us.
