There are a lot of things that wouldn't impress Shania Twain, not even Brad Pitt. At least not according to her 1998 hit "That Don't Impress Me Much." Because, she sang, "You got the look, but do you got the touch?" But at the 2022 People's Choice Awards on Dec. 6, Twain changed her famous lyrics on stage and named another Who: "Deadpool" actor Ryan Reynolds in the audience. Reynolds was honored to receive this special accolade and was met with laughter and applause. He also mouthed: "Oh my God - me ?"
During a press conference for Pitt's new film "Babylon," he commented on Twain's performance at the PCAs and how he felt about the "Start This Moment" singer throwing his name out to others. As it turns out, he's all for sharing the iconic spotlight Twain bestowed upon him.
In an interview with YouTuber Daniel Merrifield for the movie "Dweeb," which was released on TikTok on January 23, Pitt was asked what he thought of the new mention and what he thought of Reynolds "stealing his thunder." "He didn't steal. I thought we could share the wealth," Pete replied diplomatically. "Yeah, Ryan's a good egg too." He should know. Pitt was asked to make a cameo in Reynolds' film "Deadpool 2." Reynolds ultimately killed off Pitt's character.
"He deserves some love," Pitt added of the Pokémon: Detective Pikachu star . He then offered suggestions for who else Twain could nominate next time, including two of his "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" costars. "I think she should pass it on and next time she can sing it to Austin Butler," he said. "Maybe Leo (DiCaprio) is somewhere in between."

Although he didn't explain why DiCaprio deserved Twain's attention, he also called Butler a "good egg" in a later interview. "I worked with him on Quentin's movie," the "Ad Astra" star explained, adding, "He stood out right then. You could see he was moving forward. He's a very humble guy. Good people.”
