Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara welcome second child

Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara welcomed their second child on Saturday, July 1, bringing their family of three to four. The "Mother" hitmaker announced on Instagram on July 4 that she had given birth to a baby boy, along with a photo of their newborn son named Barry Bruce Trainor Trainor).

"On July 1st (the seventh anniversary of our first date), we welcome Barry Bruce Trainor into the world," Trainor wrote in the caption. "He's a big boy at 8lbs 7oz...and transverse, but we had an amazing, successful C-section and I finally got some skin-to-skin time! Thanks to everyone for taking such great care of us of doctors and nurses.”

After the couple happily announced the news, it didn't take long for the comments section to be flooded with well wishes, including from Paris Hilton, who wrote: "Congratulations sis! So happy for you. Meanwhile, actor Mandy Moore commented: "Come on mom! Welcome to the party! What a lucky guy!"

Trainor and Sabara jointly announced the pregnancy news on Instagram in January 2023, sharing a snap of the singer posing with a photo booth-style ultrasound photo reel. "Baby #2 is coming this summer," read the caption.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Riley, in February 2021 and previously revealed they were preparing for him to become an older brother. "We were trying to tell him, 'There's a baby in your belly,' but now he's pointing to his belly and saying, 'Baby.'" We're like, 'Oh, no, it's not in your belly—it's in mom's In my belly,'" the Grammy winner shared.

Trainor and Sabara started dating in 2016 and were initially set up by their mutual friend Chloë Grace Moretz. Just a year later, the couple got engaged and tied the knot in an intimate backyard wedding in December 2018.
